Imam Hussein Shrine Unveils Its Quran Mushaf

The shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) in Karbala, Iraq, unveiled its Quran mushaf in a ceremony on Thursday.

Hawzah News Agency - The newly published mushaf also incorporates advanced digital technologies. The event was attended by Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the religious custodian of the shrine, alongside prominent religious and academic figures.

According to the shrine's media office, the Quran mushaf was published under the supervision of the shrine's Quranic affairs advisor, and a dedicated application for the digital Quran was developed by the shrine's media programming division.

Sheikh Hassan Al-Mansouri, the Quranic affairs advisor, addressed the event, saying, "Great efforts were made to ensure this work achieves a high level of precision and expertise. An international committee of distinguished scholars participated in reviewing its completion."

Ali Al-Saffar, a member of the Quran review committee, emphasized the unique features of this edition, noting its role in promoting Quranic culture in line with modern advancements. "The committee overseeing this achievement included experts from various Islamic countries," he said.

Muntadhar Al-Mansouri, director of the International Quranic Center at the shrine, explained the digital application's features, including access to interpretations, search functions, Khatm Quran tools, and interactive services.
